Together with Make-A-Wish, Famous helps to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Wishes are more than just a nice gesture. They transcend gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved – wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. A dream made real can give them the courage to endure exhausting medical treatments. Parents might finally feel optimism.

Famous began its alliance with Make-A-Wish after being introduced to the organization by Luxaire. Since then, we hold fundraising activities throughout the year to maximize our wish-granting opportunity. Only with the support of our associates, customers and vendor partners can we continue to make a substantial impact on the life of a child.

Our Famous Family is proud to have been making wishes come true since 2004!

Harleigh, age 6, Glioblastoma

Harleigh is battling Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Through treatment, she suffers from headaches, drowsiness and seizures, but has remained brave and hopeful throughout the entire process. Harleigh, her mom, dad, and baby brother will be heading to Florida to spend a week enjoying Disney World together! While she is there, Harleigh is most excited to meet and have breakfast with some of her favorite Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Sophia the First, and Doc McStuffins.

Canyon, age 14, Muscular Dystrophy

Canyon wished to visit Australia to see the remarkable Great Barrier Reef! He was in awe of the different reef systems, tropical islands and beaches. Canyon and his family also had access to the underwater observatory, relaxed on the beach and even fed some fish. One of Canyon’s wildest experiences was a trip to the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas. There, he and his family observed a range of flora, fauna and wildlife, and had lunch accompanied by the colorful lorikeet birds. Canyon was also taken into the koala enclosure for a 1-on-1 with the lovable bears.
