Ranfurly Homes For Children
Earlier this year, while on a trip to The Bahamas, a focused group of Famous associates and customers visited the Ranfurly Homes for Children. The Ranfurly Home is dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected children who range in age from 11 to 18. Ranfury has the capacity to accommodate up to 40 children and provide shelter, food, clothing, school supplies and fees, transportation, computer library, and counseling services.
During our trip to tour the facility, we met the Director and learned how our Famous Family could help Ranfurly further their cause to help children in the area. We jointly identified a great need that the girls bathroom required major renovations because many of the fixtures were broken and non-working. This was one of the last spaces that had not yet been addressed in the home.
With the tremendous generosity of our customers and vendors we were able to raise the funds necessary to partner with Ranfurly and have the bathrooms completely remodeled for the benefit of the girls living there.
“Ranfurly is a caring place. It’s a place that makes sure that children are taken care of and teaches them how to deal with life, friends and family.”
— 13 year old, male Ranfurly resident
Thank you all for your generosity to support this great cause and your willingness to help these children!

During a recent visit to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Famous Supply, customers, vendors and associates raised over $25,000 for the orphanage to which Famous added $15,000 for a total donation of over $40,000! These funds were used for various repairs to the facility that were identified and will provide continuous support to the orphanage’s operations and potential scholarship opportunities for the children.
The #HashtagLunchbag experience consists of bringing together a group, creating bagged lunches, dropping in a handwritten encouraging note acknowledging the recipient, distributing the meals to our local community, and sharing your experiences with your friends and followers, inspiring them to pay it forward – turning one ripple of kindness into a wave, one lunch bag at a time!
Canyon, age 14, Muscular Dystrophy
Canyon wished to visit Australia to see the remarkable Great Barrier Reef! He was in awe of the different reef systems, tropical islands and beaches. Canyon and his family also had access to the underwater observatory, relaxed on the beach and even fed some fish. One of Canyon’s wildest experiences was a trip to the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas. There, he and his family observed a range of flora, fauna and wildlife, and had lunch accompanied by the colorful lorikeet birds. Canyon was also taken into the koala enclosure for a 1-on-1 with the lovable bears.
While in Jamaica, our Famous Family raised funds and donated plumbing tools to support their project to drill a well to bring a consistent clean water supply to the facility. Robin’s Nest is home to 30 boys and girls under the age of 11.
Harleigh, age 6, Glioblastoma
Harleigh is battling Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Through treatment, she suffers from headaches, drowsiness and seizures, but has remained brave and hopeful throughout the entire process. Harleigh, her mom, dad, and baby brother will be heading to Florida to spend a week enjoying Disney World together! While she is there, Harleigh is most excited to meet and have breakfast with some of her favorite Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Sophia the First, and Doc McStuffins.
