WHITLAM® brown waterproof sand cloth is 100% waterproof sand cloth is ideal for tough deburring, cleaning and polishing plumbing tubing, fittings and parts exposed to water. A brown, waterproof, reusable abrasive made of high grade 120J aluminum oxide, impregnated into a strong jean clothed backing to help produce a tight, leak-proof solder joint. The Brown Waterproof Sand Cloth can be used on metal and plastic tubing and pipe. It is made with waterproof phenolic resin adhesive. Quickly cleans, deoxidizes and polishes solder joints prior to sweat soldering. It is a completely waterproof abrasive cloth and is not affected by most oils and solvents.
