This 1-1/4 by 1 in lead free dual check valve prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It consists of a lead free bronze body with two plastic replaceable check valves, stainless steel springs, and 1-1/4 in FNPT union inlet by 1 in FNPT outlet. This valve is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications. It is installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter, in a vertical or horizontal position. Minimum working pressure is 10 psi (69 kpa). Maximum working pressure is 150 psi (10 bar).
